Your supportive wing-mama giving you recognition and a liberating space to help you navigate motherhood YOUR way

  • Matrescence Support

Mama, are you tired of going through the motions and ready to take control of your motherhood experience?

Perhaps you’re finally out of the baby phase and coming up for air for the first time in forever, and are thinking, “Who am I?”

Maybe you feel overwhelmed, shaken by self-doubt and guilt, or beholden to the inner mean mama voice that makes you feel like you’re not good enough.

Lovely mama, are you feeling depleted? Frustrated that your needs always slip to the bottom of the list and just want to shine again?

  • Maternity & Return to Work Coaching

Are you pregnant, on mat leave or navigating returning to the workplace?

Perhaps your professional identity feels compromised and you’re finding it hard to remember your strengths and skills.

Maybe you’re torn between ‘mum you’ vs ‘work you’. You find boundaries awkward and don’t know how to find harmony between your ambitions for motherhood and a career.

Or maybe you just feel exhausted trying to thrive at both motherhood and a career within a society that doesn’t recognise and support mothers, and wondering if it will ever get easier.

  • Corporate

Are you an employer looking to create a more inclusive culture for working parents?

I collaborate with purpose-driven companies to recognise, support, and retain their female employees during the transformational period of becoming a mother, known as matrescence.

From mindful maternity leave planning, to returning to the workplace after a pause in their career, to navigating the conflicting pressures of a career and motherhood, women need the right support to ensure that they feel equipped to remain and thrive in the workplace.

FAQs

  • I offer a blend of transformative coaching and mentoring through the lens of matrescence.

This means moving away from the traditional masculine, goal-focused approach to coaching, and taking a holistic view of you as a woman and mother, your beliefs, values, expectations and the systems you are part of.

This is important because if we don’t understand matrescence and the societal construct in which we mother - how we got here and why it feels this way - we cannot move forward.

    My promise to you is:

    • a liberating space where it feels safe to be vulnerable and raw

    • recognition - every emotion and experience is valid, without judgement

    • a supportive, lovingly challenging wing-mama

The ratio of coaching to mentoring is completely dependent on individual preference and is something that we will discuss before we start working together.

  • If you’ve read this far and something has resonated with you then it’s likely that we would work well together.

But don’t take my word for it, book a free, no-obligation exploratory session and we can get a feel of what it would be like to work together.

  • I get it, never has time felt so precious with so many plates to keep spinning.

Believing that they don’t have (or deserve) the resources is what keeps many mamas stuck.

But you do deserve time to work on yourself lovely! Not only is it an investment in your present but also your future, and that of those closest to you.

All my programmes are totally personalised and tailored to suit your time schedule - there’s no set agenda. You set the pace, you choose the dates and times.

  • Investing in yourself can feel like a big step, uncomfortable even, I get it.

How much would it be worth to feel like you are mothering, living, and working in a way that feels aligned with who you are, not the version of motherhood that has left you feeling frustrated and depleted?

What is the cost of not making these changes? Now and also for the future?

I offer personalised 1:1 support options to suit different needs and budgets, starting from £210 and interest-free payment plans are available as standard.

A number of my clients have also successfully received funding from their employers and I have a template you can use to make such a request.

So, if you are keen to work with me, please get in touch and let’s talk about why you are worth investing in.

  • I’m an ICF-certified transformative coach from the Animas Centre of Coaching and an accredited Mama Rising™ Facilitator, which means I have received dedicated training in motherhood studies and matrescence.

I have had the privilege of being mentored by Amy Taylor-Kabbaz, a leading expert and activist in the matrescence field, and along with my personal motherhood journey, bring this experience to my work.

I am committed to continuous education both within the coaching profession and the field of motherhood studies and regularly engage in continuous professional development.

Before training to become a coach, I worked in the corporate world for 15 years, an experience that has given me a unique understanding of how challenging combining motherhood with a career can be. Additionally, I am a trained Mental Health First Aider, an approved partner coach with Careering into Motherhood, and a member of the Association for Coaching.

If at any point during our work together it becomes apparent that therapy, counselling or other professional support is needed in addition to, or instead of coaching, I will always raise this so we can discuss and find the safest and most effective way of supporting you and your goals.
